If no suitable pressing tool is available, you may
use self-made special tools (see chapter “Special
tools”) and proceed as follows:

Align guide ring

with the two dowel pins on

the pump housing

Insert pressing ring

into guide ring

Place a flat steel (min. thickness: 10 mm) on
the pressing ring

Press cover into housing using a press

Attach water pump with new seal, see page 41.
