FAQ
1.
I can’t turn CoolMIR keyboard on.
•
Make sure your CoolMIR battery is charged. To charge the keyboard, plug the Mini USB
charger cable and turn the CoolMIR keyboard on by pressing the ON/OFF Button for 1
second.
•
If you still have a problem, go to the back of the CoolMIR keyboard and push the “RESET”
button using a paper clip or thin pen head. The reset button is inside a very small hole at the
back of the CoolMIR keyboard on the left upper side of the right middle screw.

I can’t turn CoolMIR keyboard off.
•
Press and hold the ON/OFF Button for 3 seconds.
•
If you still have a problem, go to the back of the CoolMIR keyboard and push the

back of the CoolMIR keyboard on the left upper side of the right middle screw.

The green light on the keyboard continuously blinks when I connect the keyboard to my
BlackBerry.
•
Make sure the CoolMIR software on the BlackBerry is turned on and it says “CoolMIR is
ON”.
•
If your BlackBerry is password protected, enter your password on your BlackBerry and press
the enter key on the BlackBerry and press the
Enter
key on the CoolMIR keyboard.
•
Press the
Enter
key on the keyboard.
•
If it still blinks and this is the first time you are connecting the keyboard to the BlackBerry,
reboot the BlackBerry by removing the battery for a few seconds.
•
Make sure the device is supported by the CoolMIR keyboard by checking the list of
supported Blackberries on http://www.man-machine.com/products/coolmir.htm.
4.
The keyboard green light is on but the keyboard does not work.
•
Make sure the CoolMIR Mini or Micro USB cable is connected to the Blackberry properly.
•
Check to see if the CoolMIR software is loaded. If not follow the Installation Instructions.
