FUNCTIONING AND CALIBRATION CHECK

Cover

ClamP

On the cover nipping menu its possible to make many fine adjust-
ments in order to obtain the best book binding job;

This setting permits the height ajustment of the cover
nipping table, up to 5 different values. The optimal para-
meter must be found out by the user depending on the
book thickness;

This setting permits to adjust the cover nipping side pres-
sure on the round page;

This setting permits to adjust the close timing for the co-
ver nipping, usually the time is increased with thicker bo-
oks in order to make the glue worm up;

• Opening: it is possible to adjust how much the user wants

the book clamp to open after the binding process have been
performed;

• Closing: it is possible to adjust the book clamp closing

operation when the start button is pressed. Note: We suggest
to completly close the book clamp by acting on the manual
control in order be sure all papers are correctly aligned;

Counter

• RESET: performs a reset of the copy counter
