13. Primary Search Phase
From the start of the search until clearly
heard signals are received, you are in the
primary search phase

In order to obtain the best range, slowly turn the beacon in all
directions. If a signal is received stop moving the beacon. Proceed in
this direction until the signal can be heard clearly. This marks
the end of the primary search phase.
