3. Push the battery pack onto the battery charger. The red LED will come on to 

indicate that the battery pack is being charged. When the charging process is 

finished, the red LED will extinguish and green LED will be permanently lit. The 

time it takes to fully recharge an empty battery is approximately 1 hour. 

4. The temperature of the battery pack may rise slightly during the charging opera

tion. This is normal. 

If the battery pack fails to become charged, please check 

• whether there is voltage at the socket-outlet 

• whether there is proper contact at the charging contacts on the charger. 

If the battery still fails to become charged, please return 

• the charger 

• the battery pack to our Customer Service Department. 

To ensure that the battery pack provides long service you should take care to 

recharge it promptly. You must recharge the battery pack when you notice that 

the power of the reciprocating saw drops. Never fully discharge the battery pack. 

This will cause the battery pack to develop a defect.

     Attention

Please charge the battery pack regularly, for example, once every 6 months.

Changing the saw blade (B4)

Important. Always remove the battery from machine before doing any work on the 

saw! Pull up the locking level for blade holder (6). 

Insert the saw blade (7) into the blade holder (5) as far as the stop. 

Release the locking level for blade holder (6). 

Pull on the blade to check whether it sits tightly in the holder. 

Follow the instructions above in reverse order to remove the saw blade.

Switching ON/OFF (B5) 

To switch on: 

Press the safety button (3) firstly and then press the On/Off switch (4). 

To switch off: 

Release the ON/OFF switch. 

Variable speed control (B5) 

Infinitely variable speed control is possible with the On/Off switch (4). The further 

you press the switch, the higher the speed can achieve. 

Working with the reciprocating saw (B6/ B7) 

Always hold the handle (1) and auxiliary handle (2) firmly with both hands. 

Switch on the saw to reach its full speed. 

Place the saw foot (8) on the workpiece you wish to saw. Then slowly move the saw 

blade along the cutting line. 

For wood cutting, the saw blade for wood (7) should be applied. 

For metal cutting, the saw blade for metal (12) should be applied.

Idling speed: 2800 min

Cutting depth in wood: 0-100 mm 

Cutting depth in steel: 0-2mm

Important!

The vibration value changes according to the area of application of power tool and 

may exceed the specified value in exceptional circumstances. Keep the noise 

emissions and vibrations to a minimum. 

• Only use appliances which are in perfect working order. 

• Service and clean the appliance regularly. 

• Adapt your working style to suit the appliance. 

• Do not overload the appliance.
