• Only open the lower guard manually in special situations, such as "miter cutting".
Open the lower guard with the return lever by releasing the lever as soon as the
grinding wheel is submerged in the workpiece. In all other situations, the lower
guard must operate automatically.
• Do not place the saw on a workbench or the floor unless the bottom guard is
covering the saw blade. An unprotected, inertly rotating saw blade moves the saw
in the opposite direction of the cut, cutting through whatever it meets. Remember
about the inertial movement of the saw.
Additional security rules
• Do not put your hands into the chip ejector. There is a risk of injury from rotating
parts.
• Do not use the chain saw overhead. This position does not give you sufficient
control of the power tool.
• To find hidden electrical cables, use a suitable detector or contact your local elec
tricity provider for assistance. Contact with electric wires can cause fire and electric
shock. Damage to the gas pipeline can cause an explosion. Damage to the water
supply can cause material damage or an electric shock.
• Do not use the power tool stationary. It is not suitable for use with a saw table.
• Do not use HSS saw blades. Such circular saw blades can break easily.
• Do not cut ferrous metals. Glowing chips could ignite the dust collector.
• Hold the power tool in a secure position holding with both hands while working. If
you hold the power tool with both hands, it will handle better.
• Secure the workpiece. Suitable clamps or a vice will hold the workpiece better than
a hand.
• Always wait until the power tool stops completely before putting it away. The power
tool can get caught in other materials and you may lose control of the power tool.
• Do not use a power tool with a damaged cord. Do not touch the damaged cable and
disconnect the plug from the power socket if damage occurs during operation.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not use grinding wheels.
• Use only circular saw blades with the diameter / diameters indicated / marked on
the saw.
• Select the correct blade for the workpiece.
• Use only circular saw blades marked with the speed corresponding to the speed
marked on the power tool or higher.
• Only use saw blades recommended by the manufacturer which comply with the EN
847-1 standard when used for cutting wood and similar materials.
This power tool is only for cutting solid wood, chipboard, plastics and lightweight
building materials. Avoid overheating the teeth of saw blade. Make sure that the tool
advances evenly. Insufficient forward feed can overheat the cutter teeth or melt the
workpiece.
• Wear a dust mask when using the device.
