Turn the Film Winding Crank counterclockwise until it stops, and then press the Crank Handle Release
Lever (C) and turn in the arrow to detach it.
The Film Advance Crank will not stop revolving unless film, or an empty spool, is in the Film
Insert’s take-up spool and the Insert is installed in the camera.

Line up the red dot on the Winding Attachment (D) with the red dot on the camera body (E), and then
press the Winding Attachment (D) against the camera body, and then turn it clockwise to secure it.
Make sure that Rapid Wind Grip’s Coupler Pins (H) engage the projecting parts on the Winding
Attachment (I).

For normal operation, set the white dot of the Shutter Release Selector (F) opposite the white dot on
the camera body (G).
5.
Line up the Grip’s Positioning Guide Pins (J) and the camera’s Mount Screw (K) with the bottom of the
camera, and then turn the Camera Mount Handle (L) to secure it.
Operating the Rapid Wind Grip GN401
1.
Operate the Grip’s Winding Lever to advance the film and cock the shutter.
2.
Turn the lens’ Distance Ring to focus the lens, set the exposure, and then press the Grip’s Shutter
Release Button.
When not using the camera, set the Grip’s Shutter Release Lock (M) to prevent an accidental
exposure.
