reMoViNG tHe iNFusioN Percolator
IMPORTANT: Do not turn the machine off – This could cause a system fault.
To clean the percolator, remove the machine’s outer cover.
To unblock the percolator, use the grey lever marked “Warning/cautiOn“.
Hold the lower part of the lever and pull the infusion percolator upwards. remove the
stuck dose, and rinse the percolator if necessary.
To replace the percolator: Hold the grey lever marked “Warning/cautiOn“.
place the whole in the machine, holding the lever as you do so.
Once in position, release the grey lever and press hard on the sides of the black part
which is in front of the lever.
Several clicks confirm that the infusion unit has been correctly inserted in
the machine.
n.B. if not all of these components are inserted correctly, the safety mechanisms will
prevent machine operation (the power light will flash to warn you of this).
descaliNG
The ek’Oh machine’s water system must be descaled regularly to guarantee optimum
operation.
So this descaling is compulsory and must be done every 6 months (for daily consumption
of 2 to 4 coffees), only using the specific ek’Oh kit.
