DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and the battery cartridge is removed
before adjusting or checking function on the tool.
Installing or removing battery
cartridge
CAUTION:
Always switch off the tool before
installing or removing of the battery cartridge.
CAUTION:
Hold the tool and the battery car-
tridge firmly hen installing or removing battery
cartridge.
Failure to hold the tool and the battery
cartridge firmly may cause them to slip off your hands
and result in d amage to th e tool and battery c artrid ge
and a personal injury.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to pinch your fin
-
gers when opening or closing the battery cover.
Failure to do so may cause personal injury.
To install the battery cartridge, release the lock first,
and open the battery cover. And then, insert the battery
c artrid ge.

Align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove
in th e h ousing and slip it into plac e. I nsert it all th e w ay
until it loc ks in plac e w ith a little c lic k. T h en loc k th e
battery c ov er.

w h ile slid ing th e button on th e f ront of th e c artrid ge.
CAUTION:
Always install the battery cartridge
fully until the red indicator cannot be seen.
I f not,
it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to
y ou or someone around y ou.
CAUTION:
Do not install the battery cartridge
forcibly.
I f th e c artrid ge d oes not slid e in easily , it is
not being inserted c orrec tly .
NOTE:
T h e c leaner d oes not w ork w ith only one
battery c artrid ge.

Tool / battery protection system
The tool is equipped with a tool/battery protection sys
-
tem. T h is sy stem automatic ally c uts of f pow er to th e
motor to ex tend tool and battery lif e. T h e tool w ill auto-
matic ally stop d uring operation if th e tool or battery is
placed under one of the following conditions:
Overload protection

h en th e tool is operated in a manner th at c auses it to
d raw an abnormally h igh c urrent, th e tool automatic ally
stops w ith out any ind ic ation. I n th is situation, turn th e
tool of f and stop th e applic ation th at c aused th e tool to
bec ome ov erload ed . T h en turn th e tool on to restart.
