Cleaning
CAUTION:
•
Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol
or the like. Discoloration, deformation or cracks
may result.
Cleaning of cloth ilter
Only for the cloth ilter model
Clogged cloth ilter causes poor suction performance.
Clean out the cloth ilter from time to time.
To remove dust or particles adhering to the cloth ilter,
shake the frame bottom quickly several times.
Cleaning of powder ilter (HEPA) and
preilter
Only for the powder ilter model
Clogged powder ilter, preilter and damper cause poor
suction performance.
Clean out the ilters and dampers from time to time.
To remove dust or particles adhering to the ilters, shake
the frame bottom quickly several times.
Occasionally wash the powder ilter in water, rinse and
dry thoroughly in the shade before use. Never wash
ilters in a washing machine.
NOTE:
•
Do not rub and scratch the powder ilter, the
preilter or the damper with hard objects such as
a brush and a paddle.
•
The ilters wear out in course of time. It is rec
-
ommended to have some spares for them.
To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs,
any other maintenance or adjustment should be per
-
formed by Makita Authorized Service Centers, always
using Makita replacement parts.
