Sw itch action
CAUTION:
Before installing the battery car-
tridge into the tool, alw ays check to see that the
sw itch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the " OFF" position w hen released.
CAUTION:
Sw itch can be locked in " ON" posi-
tion for ease of operator comfort during extended
use. Apply caution w hen locking tool in " ON"
position and maintain firm grasp on tool.
CAUTION:
Do not install the battery cartridge
w ith the lock button engaged.
CAUTION:
W hen not operating the tool,
depress the trigger-lock button from side to
lock the sw itch trigger in the OFF position.

To prevent the switch trigger from accidentally pulled, the
trigger-loc k button is prov id ed . T o start th e tool, d epress
the trigger-lock button from A ( ) side and pull the switch
trigger. Tool speed is increased by increasing pressure on
th e sw itc h trigger. R elease th e sw itc h trigger to stop. A f ter
use, depress the trigger-lock button from B ( ) side.
F or c ontinuous operation, d epress th e loc k button w h ile
pulling th e sw itc h trigger, and th en release th e sw itc h trigger.
To stop the tool, pull the switch trigger fully, then release it.

The rotating speed can be changed by turning the
speed adjusting dial to a given number setting from to
5 . H igh er speed is obtained w h en th e d ial is turned in
th e d irec tion of number 5 . A nd low er speed is obtained
w h en it is turned in th e d irec tion of number 1 .

NOTICE:
If the tool is operated continuously
at low speeds for a long time, the motor w ill get
overloaded, resulting in tool malfunction.
NOTICE:
The speed adjusting dial can be turned
only as far as 5 and back to 1. Do not force it past
5 or 1, or the speed adjusting function may no
longer w ork.
Selecting the action mode

Alw ays turn the knob fully. If the knob
is in the middle position, you cannot turn on the
tool.
NOTICE:
You cannot change the action mode

Finishing mode
In the finishing mode, you can operate the tool without
applying excessive load. This mode is suitable for fin
-
ish ing operation.
To use the tool in the finishing mode, pull the switch
trigger and release it to turn on th e tool, and th en press
th e mod e sw itc h ing button. T h e lamp ligh ts up in green.
T o return to th e normal mod e, press th e mod e sw itc h ing
button w h ile th e tool is turned on.

Accidental restart preventive
function
If you install the battery cartridge while pulling the
sw itc h trigger or loc king th e sw itc h trigger, th e tool d oes
not start. T o start th e tool, release th e sw itc h trigger, and
th en pull th e sw itc h trigger.
