Flue Restrictor Instructions

1. Remove exhaust baf

e using a 1/4 inch nut driver by

removing the two screws securing it in place. See
Figure 4.14.

2. Match the amount of vertical you have in the system

with the chart to

nd the appropriate position to set the

ue restrictor. See Figure 4.15 and Table 4.1.

3. Center the two

ue restrictor pieces on the vent at the

setting selected in step 3 and secure in place by using
two self-tapping screws. See Figure 4.15.

4. Reinstall the exhaust shield.

Note

: If the DVP-2SL or DVP-SLP24 adapter is used with SLP

pipe, you MUST subtract one number from the Table 4.1.

Example:

Top vent NG 40 ft vertical with DVP pipe = 3-3
