When EIA/TIA-232 cable is adopted, BR rate cannot be over 64Kbps.
Connect the cables of synchronous/asynchronous modules as follows:

Step 1: Insert one side of DB-25 to the DB-25 interface of 1SAE
module and screw down fixed knob.
§
Step 2: Connect another DB25 interface to V.24-V.35 (DB-25, M-34)
cable and then connect the following equipment:
If WAN is DDN line, connect (V.35 cable) to digital Modem V.35 interface.
If WAN is dialup line, connect (V.24 cable) to analog Modem serial.
During the connection, make sure about the ID on the interface to avoid
inserting to other interfaces, which causes the damage of modules and
router host.
1CE1/1E1 Module Interface Cable Connection
Connect 1CE1/E1 interface as follows:

Step 1: Connect one side of BNC plug to BNC interface of 1CE1/E1
module.

Step 2: Connect another side to the corresponding equipment.
Connect TX to RX equipment. Connect RX to TX line.
§
Step 3: After power on, check LOS status of 1CE1/E1 module.
Indicator on means malfunction and signal loses sync. Then check the
line. In E1 transparent 2M mode, the asynchronous indicator is always
on.
For RJ45 interface, use RJ45-RJ45 crossover twisted pair to connect. BNC
and RJ45 interface cannot be used together.

During the connection, make sure about the ID on the interface to

modules and router host.

For E1 module, asynchronous indicator is always on in transparent 2M
mode; in non-transparent mode, the indicator is on when frame
synchronous signals are not checked. After synchronization, the
indicator is off.
1M336 Module Interface Cable Connection
Insert RJ11 plug of 1M336 module cable to LINE jack.
During the connection, make sure about the ID on the interface to avoid
inserting to other interfaces, which causes the damage of modules and
