Mounting instructions

Intended use
A continuous filter is a reusable filter for use in fan
covers ER-A/AK/AH/AB of fan ER EC. It can be used
up to 5x.

Safety instructions and warnings
DANGER
Risk to health if filters are not replaced or if there
are no air filters. Heavily soiled or moist air filters
can accumulate harmful substances (mould,
germs, etc.). This can also occur during a
prolonged shutdown of the fan. If there is no air
filter, the fan and the air ducts become soiled.
Never operate the fan without air filters. Only use
original filters. Regularly change air filter when a filter
change is indicated (LED or timestrip). If the fan has
not been used for a long time, always replace the air
filters.
Installation
Filter change function
The air filter must be changed every 6 months,
regardless of the operating time.
After filter change time has expired, the filter
change LED blinks (red) every 5 sec.
Before resetting the filter change interval, push the
<RESET> button for 2 seconds. As a confirmation,
the filter change LED blinks 1x briefly. A new RESET
is not possible for the next 6 months.
Filter change
Change the air filter when:
ER-A: bar [B] is completely filled (red).
ER-AK, ER-AH, ER-AB: LED on the lower side of the
housing blinks red.
ER-A
1. Change air filter.
2. Remove used timestrip.
3. Stick on a new timestrip.
4. Press activation button [A]. The red dye in the interior of
the bar [B] is released. The bar indicator first fills slightly.
Within the next 6 months, the bar indicator [B] will rise to
the upper edge (indicator value 6).
ER-AK, ER-AH, ER-AB
1. Change air filter.
2. Press <RESET> button for 2 seconds. The filter change
interval is reset. The LED flashes briefly 1x.
Cleaning
NOTICE
The product will be damaged if incorrect cleaning
agent is used.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
Wash out the continuous filter with warm water.
The continuous filter can be reused up to 5x.
Depending on the level of soiling, the filter must be
cleaned every 6 months.
Environmentally responsible disposal
Dispose of the continuous filter in an environmentally-sound
manner as required by national legislation.
