Installation of the housing cover
Housing type
Insert the 4 supplied threaded inserts [1.4]
in the housing lower part. Make sure the
inserts give an audible click as they lock
into position.
Carefully insert the operating indicator light
in the operating indicator light holder in the
housing cover (see arrow). Take note of
the position of the two lateral locking cams.
Set the housing cover on the housing lower
part and screw into place with the 4 fixing
screws (torque = 1.2 Nm).
Set the control knob onto the speed
selection switch shaft.
The flattened side of the switch shaft
as well as the marking on the control
knob must point in the correct
direction when locating the knob.
Housing type
Close the control cabinet door and lock it
with the control cabinet key.
Push the speed selection switch control
knob [2.5] onto the shaft and secure it with
a screw.
Start-up
Install all system components in
accordance with their Operating instruction
before starting up.
Check that the technical data has been
adhered to by reference to the rating plate.
Switch the mains fuse on.
Carry out a function test at all 5 speed
levels.
8. Maintenance
The unit is maintenance-free.
9. Fault rectification

Call on the services of a trained
electrician any time there is a fault.

Repairs should only be carried out by a
trained electrician.
DANGER
Danger to life. Unit is powered
up
Disconnect the 5-step
transformer completely from
the power supply before
opening the transformer
housing: Switch the mains
fuse off and position a visible
warning notice to avoid the
unit being accidentally
switched back on.
