1. Wire the fan electrically according to the
wiring diagram

Sticker in terminal box or
corresponding wiring diagram in the appen -
dix. Tightening torque of terminals
1 Nm. Ensure PE conductor connection.
2. Check that the technical data (

rating
plate) matches.
3. Fit terminal box/service switch cover and
screw it on. NOTICE: Risk of short-circuits if
terminal box not watertight. Ensure correct
cable screw connections and tight elbows/
cable screw connections/blind plugs.
4. Switch the mains fuse on.
5. Commissioning MDR unit:
• Service switch in position (1/On).
•
For MDR-PG variants, adjust the
setpoints on the pressure controller

Chapter 13.
• For MDR-VG variants, set the setpoint on
the speed setpoint generator

Chapter

6. Fit roof [1] and screw it with both ring nuts
[2] – tightening torque 10 Nm.
