Insert the plug into the available grounded outlet. The electrics box
should be placed in an easily reachable place in case the reset button
has to be pushed (VTA6S HMVC and VTA6S GÜCL only).
After the grinder has been connected, check the di-
rection of rotation of the grinding disc (arrow on the
hopper). If the grinder is rotating in the wrong direc-
tion ask an electrician to reverse the polarity of the
socket in compliance with DIN standards.
6. Operation
6.1 Operating Instructions
1. Adjust the grinding fi neness to the desired setting. Lift the grind se-
lect lever and turn to the notch that corresponds with your brewing
method.
2. Now
fi ll the coffee beans into the hopper. Close the hopper.
3. Straighten the completely opened bag so that its whole volume can
be used. Place the bag well under the spout and let it rest on the
shaking basket.
Do not hold the bag as otherwise the shaking of the
bag does not work!
4. Start the grinder by pushing the Start button -ON-.
5. After grinding process has been completed grab the knock-off ball
handle and let it knock onto the spout several times to remove
ground coffee residues from the spout (VTA6S HMVC
and VTA6S
GÜCL
only).
6. Push the Stop button -OFF- to stop the motor.
7. Take your bag off the shaking basket.
