ESSENTIAL ELECTRICAL CONCEPTS

The leads plug in as follows:  

•

BLACK 

−

 always plugs into the COM input jack. 

•

RED 

−

 plugs into one of the three remaining jacks, depending on what measurement 

is being performed. 

−

 V/W/diode input for measuring resistance, conductance, and capacitance, 

as well as checking diodes (Voltage).  

−

 A input for measuring current up to 10 amps.

 

−

 A/mA input for measuring current up to 400mA.
