DISMOUNTING & STORAGE

ATTENTION:

Always install the protective covers on

the ends of the hydraulic hoses when the are

disconnected. This is to prevent any pollutants from

entering the vehicle's accessory

s hydraulic system.

ATTENTION:

Clean up all oil spills to prevent

accidents.

WARNING

TO PREVENT INJURIES:

Park the vehicle on a flat surface in a well ventilated

area.

Disengage the P.T. O.

Apply parking brake.

Wait until all moving parts have stopped before

leaving the driver

s seat.

Use wheel chocks.

Lift the accessory and stop the engine

SNOWBLOWER DISMOUNTING

1) Unplug the hydraulic hoses for the chute rotation and

wrap them around the snowblower chute.

2) Remove the half drive line from the shaft.

IMPORTANT:

If this step is not done, it will cause

damages to parts of the drive mechanism or to the

subframe.

3) Lower the parking stand.

4) Remove the pins (item 1) and put them in the

holes (item 2) on the upper lift arm and secure

them in place with the lynch pins (item 3).

5) Lower the accessory.

SUBFRAME DISMOUNTING

WARNING

TO PREVENT INJURIES:

Park the vehicle on a flat surface in a well ventilated

area.

Disengage the P.T. O.

Apply parking brake.

Wait until all moving parts have stopped before

leaving the driver

s seat.

Use wheel chocks.

Lift the accessory and stop the engine.

The next step requires the vehicle

s hydraulic system.

Be aware that the vehicle is still running.

IMPORTANT:

When there is an accessory installed

on the vehicle, it is not recommended to use this

method if there is not enough ground clearance to

slide the subframe from underneath the vehicle.

Subframe with snowblower:

1) Unplug the hydraulic hoses for the chute rotation and

wrap them around the snowblower chute.

2) Raise the snowblower.

3) Remove the rear pin that unites the rear subframe to

the rear hitch.

4) Lower the snowblower.

ATTENTION:

the rear part of the subframe will lower

to the ground.

5) Remove the drive shaft from the mid PTO.

NOTE:

This step is important to avoid damages to

the drive mechanism or to the vehicle.

6) Remove the rear hitch (optional).

7) Remove the front pin from the subframe.

8) Activate the hydraulic cylinder to lower the front

part of the subframe.

9) Unplug the hydraulic hoses for the lift mechanism

and remove from their supports.

10) Back up with the vehicle to free the subframe.

Subframe without snowblower:

1. Remove the rear pin that unites the rear subframe

to the rear hitch.

2. Put a block of wood under the lift arms.

3. Lower the lift arms on the block of wood.

4. Remove the front pin from the front hitch support.

6. Activate the hydraulic cylinder to lower the front

part of the subframe.

7. Unplug the hydraulic hoses for the lift mechanism

and remove from their supports.

8. Back up with the vehicle to free the subframe.

END OF SEASON STORAGE

a) Clean snowblower and subframe thoroughly and

repaint all parts from which paint has worn.

b) List the replacement parts that will be needed for

the next season.

c) Store the snowblower and the subframe in a dry

place.

d) Follow the instructions in the Lubrication section.
