Insert the straight pick between the encoder head wires and the I380 body as shown in figure 4.
Carefully position the pick in such a way that keeps the head wires away from the opening where
the card is visible.
Note
: If the encoder wires are
damaged in any way
the encoder will need to be replaced.

Once the head wires are safely away from the access window insert the 90° pick and
place the spike firmly against the card surface that is visible through the access window
as shown in figure 5 below.
