REAR PANEL 

(see page 2) 

 

A. DC-Power input 

Connector to plug in the 13.8VDC power lead. 
 

B. Antenna Connector 

Connector SO-239 to plug in the antenna cable using a PL-259 connector. 
 

C. External S-Meter input 

Connector to plug in an external S-meter using a 2.5mm plug. 
 

D. External Speaker input 

Connector to plug in an external speaker (8 Ohm) using a 3.5mm plug. 
 

 

TROUBLE SHOOTING 

Contact your local dealer if you can not solve the problem or the problem is not listed. 

 

1. Radio will not turn on, display does not light up. 
 

Check the power leads, voltage and fuse. 

 

 

2. Radio will not transmit (TX) or quality is poor. 
 

Check the antenna, antenna leads, connectors and VSWR. 

 

Check supply voltage. 

 Check 

microphone 

 
3.  Radio will not transmit (RX) or reception is poor. 
 

Check the antenna, antenna leads, connectors and VSWR. 

 

Check the adjustment of squelch and volume. 

 

Check the microphone’s condition and is it properly plugged in?
