Description of buttons:
1. Temperature setting
^
= Temperature up,
v
= Temperature down
Increase or decrease the temperature by pressing the
^
or
v
button. Each press will increase or decrease the
temperature by 5° C. Keeping the button pressed will rapidly increase or decrease the temperature.
2. Preset functions indicators (Note: these are no touch buttons)
The selected preset function icon will start flashing after it has been selected with the menu button [6].
3. Time setting
^
= Time Up,
v
= Time down
Adjust the time by pressing the
^
or
v
button. Each touch will increase or decrease the time by 1 minute.
4. Frying indicator
The indicator will light up during the hot air frying process. The indicator will start flashing when the frying
process is paused.
5. Alarm clock
Touch the alarm clock button to set an alarm time that differs from the cooking time. This makes it possible to
set an alarm as a reminder to, for example, add extra ingredients or shake the basket after a certain amount of
time has elapsed during the cooking program. Touch once for 5 minutes, touch twice for 10 minutes, touch three
times for 15 minutes alarms and touch four times to return to the normal menu. Once an alarm time has been
selected and a preset mode or user mode has been selected, and the cooking program is started by pressing
the power ON/OFF button [7], the countdown for the alarm will start and the button will flash. The alarm will
sound 5 beeps once the selected time has elapsed.
Note:
> The alarm will continue a new alarm cycle if the cooking time has not yet been reached and the
button will continue to flash.
> No lighting will appear during the alarm countdown and when the basket is open. When the basket is
replaced, lighting will resume and the Alarm Clock will start flashing again.
> If the pause/start button is pressed to pause the cooking program, the alarm clock will continue
counting down and the button will continue to flash.
> During a cooking program, the alarm clock can only be adjusted or switched OFF in pause/start
mode. During pause/start mode, press the alarm clock button to toggle between 5-10-15 min or OFF.
Then press the Play/Pause button again to resume the cooking program.
6. Preset menu selection
Touch the preset menu selection button repeatedly to toggle between the available presets: FRENCH FRIES,
RIBS, SHRIMP, CAKE, PIZZA, FISH, STEAK, CHICKEN. The selected preset function indicator will flash. You
will be in USER MODE if all preset indicators are illuminated; you can then set your desired Temperature and
time setting using the buttons described under [1] and [3].
NOTE: The device will sound a bell (5 times) once the cooking time has elapsed.
7. Power ON/OFF
Touch the power button to switch the device ON or OFF. Press once to switch the device ON. Once a mode has
been selected, or when in User Mode, press the power button to start the frying process. Press the button again
to switch OFF the device. When the device is switched OFF, the 8 preset function indicators and the Frying
indicator will remain illuminated for approx. 20 seconds; hereafter the device will switch OFF and 5 beeps will
sound. Only this button will remain illuminated in OFF mode.
8. Pause/start
Touch the pause/start button to pause the cooking program. For example, to shake the contents halfway
through a cooking cycle or to adjust the cooking time [3] or cooking temperature [1] during the chosen cooking
program. Touch the pause/start button again to resume the cooking program and the cooking time countdown.
Automatic switch-OFF
The device features a built-in timer that automatically shuts OFF the device 20 seconds after the cooking
program has finished (a beep will sound 5 times) or if no selections are made when the device is switched ON (no
beep).
First use:
• Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film or plastic from the
device.
• Before you use the device for the first time, wipe all the removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use
aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; this damages the device, the inner
pan and inner basket.
• Place the device on a flat, stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over.
• Connect the device to the mains power. The device will sound 2 beeps and the power ON/OFF button [7] will
illuminate.
