Chapter  4    Advanced Technical Information

Interface Card LEDs 

•

 

An Interface card is capable of operating at x16, x8, x4, x2 and x1 link widths.  With 
the Interface card can only operate in a x8 speed.

•

 

When the Amber LED (D5) is ON, the Reset is a

When the Amber LED (D5) is OFF, the Reset

When the Interface card is being used as
using it as an Expansion Interface card, the SW4 should be

During normal operation LEDs D7, D8, D3 and D4

LED D5 will turn on (Amber) when PCIe reset is asserted and turn off when the reset is de

If  the Interface cable is not connected correctly, the LED D5 will 
connected correctly and the expansion board is powered on and the host is turned on then the amber 
LED D5 should be off

.

Technical Information
