manual. Before using electrical appliances, carefully read this manual which contains important
information regarding care and operation for your safety.
CONTENTS OF BOX
SAFETY INFORMATION
Read this instruction manual carefully before using the unit and keep it for the whole operation
period. Use the unit for its intended purpose only, as specified in this manual. Mishandling of the
unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property. To avoid
the risk of fire, electric shock and to prevent injury, observe the following safety measures:
• Read all instructions before use or cleaning.
• Remove the appliance from its packaging and remove packaging materials away from children.
Attention! Do not let children play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
• The appliance is intended for household use only. The appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
• Before connecting the unit to the mains, make sure that the voltage specified on the unit
corresponds to your home mains voltage.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
• Do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but not cord.
• Do not touch the plug or the body of the appliance with wet hands.
• To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Do not cover any part of the appliance with metal or cloth, it may cause overheating.
• Do not use the unit near heat sources or open flame.
• Do not use any accessories other than manufacturer recommended accessories.
• Do not immerse the unit body into water or any other liquids.
• Clean the appliance regularly.
• Close supervision is necessary when children or disabled persons are near the operating unit.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and over and persons with limited physical,
sensory or mental capabilities if supervised or given instructions on how to use the appliance in a
safe way, and the hazards are explained. Children do not have to play with the device. Cleaning
and maintenance are not performed by children without supervision.
• Regularly check the power plug and power cord integrity for damages. Never use the unit if the
power cord or the power plug is damaged, if the unit works improperly or after it was dropped.
• Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is
detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center from
the contact address list given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.magio.ua
• For environment protection do not throw out the unit with usual household waste after its
service life expiration; apply to the specialized center for further recycling.
• Keep the unit out of reach of children and disabled persons.
• Do not use this appliance for any use other than its intended use. This appliance is for household
use only.
• Never leave the appliance unattended in working.
• Protect the device from the effects of adverse climatic conditions, humidity and heat sources.
• Before putting the appliance for long-time storage or before cleaning. Plug it off an outlet and
let the appliance cool down.
• To avoid overloading the electrical power supply, do not switch on multiple power supplies at the
same time.
• Do not use the appliance near baths, sinks or other containers filled with water.
• If the appliance falls to the water, immediately disconnect it from the mains. In this case, do not
immerse your hands in water. Before using the appliance further, it must be checked by a qualified
technician.
• The appliance can only be switched on to a grounded network. Do not use non-standard power
supplies or other connecting devices.
• Before using the extension cord, make sure it is grounded.
• Before you pack the appliance let it cool completely.
• Do not stretch, bend or increase the power cord, as this may result in kink.
• Transport the unit in the original package only.
• Place the unit on a flat heat-resistant surface away from moisture and heat sources and open
flame.
• Place the unit with free access to the mains socket.
• Use the unit in places with proper ventilation.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
• Do not place the unit close to walls and furniture.
• Do not insert foreign objects into the openings of the unit or between its parts.
• Provide that edges of clothes or foreign objects do not get between the lid and the unit body.
• Do not leave the unit lid open during operation. • To avoid injury, do not bend over the steam release openings or over the bowl when the
multicooker lid is open.
• Do not touch the surface of the lid during multicooker operation, open the lid after having
pressed the lid opening button.
• To avoid getting burned by hot steam, be very careful when opening the multicooker lid.
• Keep the steam valve clean, clean it when it gets dirty.
• Never use the unit without the installed bowl, do not switch the multicooker on without
products and sufficient amount of liquid in the cooking bowl.
• Follow the recommendations as to amount of dry products and liquids.
Attention!
When steam cooking food, watch the level of liquid in the bowl, add water to the
bowl as needed. Do not leave the unit unattended!
• Do not use the multicooker if the silicone gasket on the inner side of the lid is damaged.
• Do not remove the bowl during operation.
• Do not cover the multicooker during operation.
• Do not carry the unit during operation.
• The lid, the food cooking bowl and body parts heat up heavily during operation, do not touch
them. Take the hot bowl out after putting on thermal protective potholders.
• Clean the unit regularly.
• Do not allow children to touch the unit body and the power cord during the unit operation.
• Do not leave children unattended not to let them use the unit as a toy.
• Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.
• Do not lay food directly on the heating element, use the bowl.
• Do not place the product in close proximity to walls and furniture. Free space above the
multicooker should be at least 30-40 cm.
• Before the first use, it is recommended to boil water in the multicooker in a temperature mode
("Steam") for 30 minutes when the bowl is filled to half to eliminate foreign smells.
• Before disconnecting the device from the network, make sure that it is in standby mode and the
program is not running.
• Do not carry the appliance by the lid opening handle.
• Do not leave cooking utensils in the bowl while cooking.
• Do not leave food or water in the multicooker for a long time.
RULES OF USING OF THE COOKING BOWL
• Use the unit and its parts for the intended purposes only. Do not use the cooking bowl by
installing it on other heating units or surfaces.
• Do not replace the bowl with another container.
• Always make sure that the heating element surface and the bottom of the bowl are clean and
dry, if this rule is not followed, the multicooker may fail.
• Do not use the bowl for mixing products. Never chop products in the bowl to avoid damage of
the non-stick coating.
• Never leave or keep any foreign objects in the bowl.
• When cooking food in the bowl, stir it only with the plastic soup ladle or spatula.
• Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl.
• After cooking dishes with spices and seasonings, wash the bowl right after cooking.
• To avoid damage of the coating, do not put the bowl into cold water right after cooking; let it
cool down preliminarily.
• Do not fill the bowl with food products above the maximum level mark.
• Do not pour vinegar into the bowl, it may damage the coating.
• The bowl is not intended for washing in the dishwashing machine.
SPHERE OF USE
The device is intended solely for household use in accordance with this instruction. The device is not
intended for industrial use. The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from improper or
unforeseen use of this instruction manual.
UNPACKING
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature before switching on.
– Unpack the unit completely and remove any stickers and packaging materials that can prevent
unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages; do not use it in case of damages.
– Before switching the unit on, make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to the unit
operating voltage.
DESCRIPTION
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Unpack the unit, remove any stickers and package materials that can prevent multicooker
operation.
• Place the unit on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from all kitchen heat sources (such as gas
cooker, electric cooker or cooking unit).
• Place the unit while keeping at least 20 cm gap between the multicooker body and the wall and
30-40 cm gap above the unit.
• Do not place the multicooker close to the objects that can be damaged by the released steam of
high temperature.
Attention! Do not place the unit near bath tubs, kitchen sinks or other containers filled with
water.
• Open the lid by pressing the cover release button and pulling the handle.
• Wash all removable parts with a soft sponge with neutral detergent: bowl, tray steaming, spoon,
ladle, measuring cup and cups yogurt. Then rinse them under running water and dry.
• Clean the unit body with a damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
BEFORE BEGINNING
To determine the amount of rice or any other cereal, use the measuring cup that comes with the
multicooker kit. Pour water in accordance with the number of measuring cups, but remember that
all cereals absorb water in different ways. Do not fill the bowl with more than 60% of its total
volume. Make sure that the products are evenly distributed around the bowl. Spreading the
ingredients in the bowl of the multicooker, remember that when cooking products that have the
ability to swell in hot water (rice, dry fruit) or to allocate foam, which will lead to overflow through
the edges of the bowl and the gulf of sensors and TEH, so do not fill the bowl with a bolus than half
its volume.
OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT
Put the products in the bowl, following the recommendations in the recipe. Place the bowl inside
the multicooker, make sure that the bowl is in tight contact with the heating element. Close the
cover until it clicks, if the cover is not closed tightly, the program will not be executed correctly. The
lid should be open when using the programs "Fryer", "Fish Steak", "Dried Fruits" and "Pancakes".
Connect the multicooker to the mains. You will see «Р-:--» on the display. 46 automatic programs:
Rice Crust, Cake, Steam, Pilaf, Fry, Noodels, Bake, Stew, Pasta, Pie, Slow Cook, Rice, Meat, Jam,
Barbeque, Soup, Oatmeal, Vegetable, Bean, Meat Defrost, Defrost, Pudding, Bacon, Steam Fish,
Lamb Stew, Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni, Fry Fish, Dried Fruit, Pumpkin Rice, Bread, Buckwheat,
Pancake, Polenta, Dumpling, Mutton Soup, Seafood Paella, Reheat, Custom. Press the MENU button
to select the program you need. Use the "-" and "+" buttons to select program. The selected
program will be highlighted by the indicator and will be automatically activated after 6 seconds.
During the cooking process, the light indicator will blink. When the steam program is working, it is
necessary to use a tray steaming. In the bowl, pour the water (500-550ml) on the tray steaming,
put the food and put it on the bowl. When the "Defrost" program is operating, pour 500-550 ml of
water into the bowl, and put food on top of the steamer tray, close the lid.
SETTING THE COOKING TIME
Press the «COOK TIME» button, use the buttons to select the cooking time. In the programs «Rice»,
«Cake», «Rice Crust» the time is programmed by default, therefore, the cooking time on these
programs can’t be set manually and is assigned automatically. The display will show the elapsed
cooking time, instead of the remaining cooking time.
TIMER FUNCTION
This function allows you to delay the start of cooking. Select the program, and then click 2 times on
START DELAY/COOKING TIME, the green LED will light, indicating the readiness to set the delayed
time. The display will show «00:00». Select the desired cooking time by us the "-" and "+" buttons.
The countdown will start automatically activated after 6 seconds.
For example, if you want to start cooking after 2 hours and 30 minutes, set on the display «2:30» us
the "-" and "+" buttons, the countdown will start automatically activated after 6 seconds.
MANUAL MODE
This program allows you to prepare a dish by setting the individual time.
END OF COOKING
The «Keep temperature» mode starts automatically after cooking and stores the necessary
temperature for the dish. When cooking is finished, «ЬЬ» is displayed (except for programs "Frying"
and "Yogurt"). By pressing the «HEAT / CANCEL» button, you can cancel this function. Press again to
activate this function. If the multicooker is not in use, disconnect it from the mains.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The product should be regularly cleaned and removed from its surface any food residues. Before
cleaning, turn off the multicooker, unplug it from the mains and let it cool down. Wipe the control
panel, the outer and inner surfaces with a damp cloth and detergent, and then wipe dry. Do not
wash the housing in water and do not spray water on it. Wash the bowl with warm water and
detergent and wipe dry. Remove the condensate collection container by rinsing it with water and
wipe it with a damp cloth, replace it.
Attention! Do not wash the removable parts of the multicooker in the dishwasher.
STORAGE
Before storage, make sure that the product is disconnected from electric network. Complete all the
requirements of the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section. Keep the product in a dry, cool place
and out of the reach of children and people with disabilities.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction of the device operation can be caused by the following factors:
• The amount of ingredients in the bowl exceeds the maximum level.
• You select the wrong cooking program.
• The bowl is damaged.
• The food is poured over with hot water.
• The bottom of the bowl or the hot plate are dirty.
• The device is not plugged in.
• The steam valve is blocked.
• Too long delayed start.
• The lid is not closed tightly.
• The inner surface of the device or the lid are dirty.
• Too long “Keep Warm” mode.
• The bowl is dirty.
