TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom

•Motor does not start.

•Motor stops.

•Working pressure too high or

uneven spray pattern.

•Working pressure too low.

•Irregular or pulsating working

pressure.

Probable Cause

•Motor not connected to power

supply.

•A fuse has blown or breaker has

tripped.

•Thermal overload tripped.

•Pump is frozen.

•A fuse has blown or breaker has

•Thermal overload tripped.

•Spray nozzle partly blocked.

•Spray nozzle worn.

•Air in pump.

•Unloader valve not adjusted

properly.

•Foreign material in unloader.

•Drive belts are too loose.

•Water supply of inadequate capacity.

Correction

•Connect the motor to the power

supply.

•Change the fuse or reset the

breaker.

•Allow the motor to cool. Check that

the operating pressure is not too high
and that the power supplied to the
motor matches that required.

•Allow the pump to thaw.

•Change the fuse or reset the

breaker. Check that the power
supplied to the motor matches that
required.
