5 Errors and remedies
Errors appear in the main screen of the display, at the top right:
Er01 Alarm
PROBLEM
Water temperature in the boiler reached 100°C and the manual reset safety thermostat was
activated.
REMEDY
After letting the boiler cool down, press the manual reset button of the safety thermostat located
at the rear of the thermo-stove, then unblock the boiler by pressing the display on and off button
for a long time.
CAUSES
A. Presence of air bubbles in the system or in the boiler. To eliminate them, use the vent
valve in the boiler body or those in the radiators.
B. Presence of interception organs, such as zone valves and/or gate valves, which prevent
heat dissipation. Open any gate valves and, in the case of zone installation, make sure that
there is at least one open area.
C. Circulator blocked. Position the circulator in vent position, so as to check if the impeller
of the motor is able to unlock automatically, otherwise replace the circulator of the
thermo-stove.
D. Technical parameters incorrect. Check parameter P26 (hydraulic system configuration). It
must be set up to reflect the installation of the product in question (See page 9).
E. Boiler Probe defective. Take note of the indication of the water temperature in the boiler
on the control display; the indication must be appropriate to the actual water
temperature (for example, not 0°C).
The resistance of the NTC probe that detects water temperature in the boiler must be
about 10 kὨ at a temperature of 25°C and decrease with the increase of the detected
temperature (which increases as temperature decreases). To measure the probe
Resistance, it is necessary to disconnect it from the electronic control unit; if the measured
resistance is 0 ohms or is = infinite, the probe must be replaced because it is respectively
in short circuit (value of 110°C) or interrupted (value of 0°C). If the probe Resistance is
correct but the wrong temperature is displayed, replace the electronic unit that does not
correctly interpret the temperature detected by the probe.
