1.8 RDM CAPABILITY
Remote Device Management Protocol (RDM) is an enhancement of the DMX512 communication
protocol. RDM can be used for configuration and status monitoring while DMX512 takes care of
the default DMX controlling.
For RDM you will need a RDM compatible controller, cables and a RDM responder like the
MAGICFX
®
FX-SWITCHPACK. You can activate or deactivate RDM in the menu, see Section 1.5.
