Option Module Settings: DVI-TX-232
The (232) option module has internal jumper settings that can be configured for various serial modes and CAT5
cable lengths.
To access the (232) module board:
Make sure the unit is powered OFF.
If necessary, unplug all cables to the unit.
Unscrew the top cover screws.
Unscrew the DB9-F hex-standoffs.
Lift the cover off.
Carefully unplug the (232) module from the main board.

NOTES:
Mode 1 is required when using multi output transmitters
and when daisy chaining receivers.
Mode 3 may introduce noise in video over 1,000 ft when
serial communication occurs. This does not apply if Mode 5
is used on the receiver.
JP1 5-6 & 7-8 terminate the serial bus and must be IN on
the transmitter.
