Event recording
By default, if an event happens, such as high-speed driving, an abrupt turn, or
an accidental crash, the G sensor prompts the dashcam to start an Emergency
recording (or Event recording).
To manually start an Event recording while Continuous recording is in progress,
press .
To stop recording, press .
Note: Your dashcam automatically protects/locks Event recordings.
Capture mode.
When not recording, press the Power key rapidly to switch to Capture mode. Press
to capture a photo.

Note: In Capture mode, open the Capture menu by pressing .
Playback mode
To select a video or photo for playback (when not recording):
1. Press the
Power key rapidly to switch to playback mode. The screen displays
the latest file.
