Bypassing Zones
Bypassing a zone allows you to ignore (deactivate) specified zones the next time the system is armed. You
can bypass certain zones when you arm the system. When a zone is bypassed, it will be ignored the next time
you arm the system. Once the system is disarmed, the system will “unbypass” the zone. Zones that can be
bypassed are defined by your installer.
NOTE:
Fire zones cannot be bypassed. For more information on fire zones, refer to
Fire Alarms
on page 58.
To bypass a zone:
1.
Press the
menu
key.
2.
Select
01-BYPASS ZONES
, then press
ok
.
3.
Zones that are already bypassed are displayed first, followed by the rest of the
zones. Scroll through the zones and use the left menu key to bypass or
unbypass zones.
4.
Press
exit
to return to the previous menu.
