Make sure all guards are secured shut when machine is on. All electrical enclosures should only be opened with a tool that is not to be kept with the machine. Machine should be installed & checked by a Licensed Electrician. Heavier pieces must be carried by more than one person, or use supports.

Ensure machine is bolted down to prevent it falling. Eliminate, avoid loose clothing / Long hair etc. Make sure blade guard is down and adjusted when changing thickness. Use a push stick where required. Check blade is tight and in good condition before starting.
