OPERATION

3.5 Cutterbar Doors

The R85 comes in two con

gurations—one con

gured for use in North America and one con

gured for use outside

of North America. The con

guration is speci

ed in the title when necessary.

CAUTION

Do NOT operate the machine without all the cutterbar doors down. The curtains should be installed and
in good condition.

Two doors provide access to the cutterbar area.

Rubber curtains are attached to each door at the front
corners and center

xed cover.

Latches at the lower

corners of each curtain keep the curtains together to
minimize the risk of thrown objects.

The cutterbar curtains reduce the potential for thrown
objects.

Always keep curtains down when operating

the header.

Replace the worn or damaged curtains. Refer to your
Dealer for replacement instructions.
