How to test defrost operation

1. Disconnect the refrigerator.

2. Disassemble the control board.

3. Disconnect freezer sensor harness on “CON1 Defrost”.

4. Reconnect the refrigerator.

5. Compressor start after a minimum of 4 seconds.

6. Install a jumper wire between P_P and GND pins.

7. Compressor will turn off in approx. 5 seconds and 5 seconds later the
defrost heater comes on. Clip Amprobe around the blue wire on CON4 (should
read 2.6 to 2.7 amps).

(Once heater is on, jumper wire may be removed, heater will stay on).
