The high quality bath waste that is included with your Pearl is cable operated, not
the common linkage type found in most tubs which are subject to clogging prob-
lems.  The drain plug has an adjustable screw and locking nut to vary the overall
length of the plug.  If the bath waste drain does not seal, turn in the screw and
retighten the locking nut (fig. 7).

All Pearl Essence Series units, except the Wisteria, have these features.  Designed
for convenience and function, yet sculpted into their own special place.  The
spray is adjustable on the spray head itself, from full spray to stream.  Push the
diverter down to change from tub fill to hand held spray.  The valves are ceram-
ic requiring only a

turn for on/off operation (fig. 8).

IMPORTANT
Proper installation of the connecting lines from the valves to the fill spout and
hand held spray, in compliance with local codes is the responsibility of the
installer. A vacuum breaker and/or temperature balanced valve may be
required.  Pearl Baths, Inc. does not warrant connections of water supply fit-
tings and piping, fill systems or drain/overflow systems. Nor is it responsible
for damage to the bath or home which occurs during any installation proce-
dure.
