If fitted to a EM1620 (EM1520) the handle will now
be held by the star washer fitted under the lock but if
it is used to drive a boltwork the handle must now be
locked by fitting a star washer on the spindle shaft
and pushing it all the way in whilst holding handle in
position.
Connect one (1) battery to the battery
connector. Only use 9V ALKALINE
Duracell Procell- or Energizer batteries.
Thoroughly clean the edge where keypad membrane is
to be attached. The area must be dry and clean for
glue to catch properly. Feed the cable through the
cable hole. Remove the protective layer from the
adhesive ring on the back of the keypad unit. Position
the keypad and press it into the housing. Do not
remove and re-apply keypad once it has been glued
in the housing!
