When using the JR-2 to interrupt on the DC side, the
indicated polarities should be observed to reduce wear of the
plating on the plunger of the mercury relay.
Warning:
Always observe the proper safety procedures
when working on electrical equipment. Turn off all live wires
before inserting the current interrupter.
