APPLIANCE OPERATION

BASE KICK PLATE

To remove and replace the base kick plate:

1.  Open the refrigerator door and remove the base kick plate by pulling down and out from the top.
2.  Replace the base kick plated by putting the clips in the openings in the refrigerator panel. Push in until the

kick plate snaps into place.

CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB

NOTE:

Not all appliance bulbs will fit your refrigerator. Be sure to replace the bulb with one of the same size,

shape, base size and wattage. The required bulb is a T7 base and must not exceed 15 watts. You can pur-
chase bulbs by calling Lynx Grills Customer Care.

1.  Unplug appliance or disconnect power.

2.  Remove the light shield. This is done by removing the lamp shield from the rear of the Lamp/Thermostat

housing. Squeeze the lamp shield and rotate the shield downwards to free the mounting tabs

3.  Replace the light bulb with an appliance bulb of the same wattage.

4.  Replace the light shield.

5.  Plug in appliance or reconnect power.

Note: The light switch mounted on the Lamp/Thermostat housing is a non-operational switch see items 335 , i
044 & 045 in page 14. The light is controlled by the door switch,

LOSS OF POWER

In the event of a power outage or a temporary loss of power, unplug the refrigerator. After a loss of power
keep the refrigerator unplugged for at least 30 minutes to allow the refrigeration system to equalize. During
this time keep the door closed as much as possible to keep the interior as cold as possible.
REMEMBER: A full refrigerator stays cold longer than a partially filled one.

MOVING CARE FOR YOUR REFRIGERATOR

1.  Remove all containers.

2.  Unplug the appliance.

3.  Clean it thoroughly.

4.  Tape the appliance shut and tape the electrical cord to the cabinet.

5.  When  you  get  to  your  new  location,  refer  to the  “Installation  Instructions”  and  “Appliance  Use”

sections for information on installation and setting the controls.

*

Excessive Weight Hazard! * Use two or more people to move and install your refrigerator.
