As in the screen of RMS Dynamics, if we do not want the Peak limiter to work, we can press the
Bypass button to disable this action. Then the Peak Limiter screen shows a Bypass Active label

To better understand how Peak limiter works, observe the following example, with the threshold values
on -6 dB, 40 ms of Hold and Realease of 7 dB/s.

When the input signal exceeds the threshold limit set (-6dB in this example), dynamics start working by
reducing the signal to the threshold. The difference with the RMS limiter (see page. 34) is that the Peak limiter
has no time attacking, since it is instantaneous and does not let any transitional signal above the threshold we
have set.
The Hold and Release time follows the same acting as RMS limiter.
