The wiring method for unbalanced connections with XLR connectors to

unbalanced RCA/Phono phone connectors using coaxial cable (1 wire + shield) is as

follows:

XLR Pin 1 (GND) no connection

XLR Pin 2 (+) to signal wire and to the Phono center pin

XLR Pin 3 (-) to the cable shield and to the Phono sleeve
