Chapter Five--Control Setup

Port Type

The port type section is used to select the preferred
communication protocol. The controller defaults to Ethernet
(TCP/IP) for setup but can be controlled in conjunction with
RS-232, sACN or DMX-512 protocols.

RS-232

For RS-232 operation use the following steps:

Select a baud rate in the dropdown box from 300 to 115,200
Baud. The default is 9600. The data structure is set at 8 Data
bits, 1 Stop bit and No Parity bit (8,1,N). Then set the ON and
OFF thresholds in either the 0-255 range or the percentage
range.
