Communication LX 7000 – LX 20, Colibri
LX 7000 is able to exchange data (bi-directional) with LX 20, Colibri and Posigraph. The following data can be
transferred:

DA.4 files (TP and TSK)

Flight info
To establish data transfer use following steps:

Read means, LX 7000 will read data from LX 20 and opposite
Communicate with Colibri is much more simple. The Colibri will establish CONNECT automatically after pressing
ENTER on TRANSFER by LX 7000. The CONNECT status is signaled by a sound from the Colibri. Having
activated some
NMEA sentances on LX 7000
use following procedure to establish connection.

Installation
The LX 7000 Digital unit needs one standard 80-mm cutout. The Analog /Vario needs one standard 57 mm cutout.
Both units are extremely short (110 mm) and therefore not problematically to be installed in any glider.
Three pressure connectors are on the rear side of the Analog/Vario unit. A label on the rear side shows their
functions.
