I.
GUIDELINES FOR SAFE OPERATION OF THE COOKER HOOD
1.
Read these instructions carefully before installation.
2.
Install the hood as described and instructed in the “Installation”
section.
3.
The cooker hood must be plugged only to a power outlet with a
pro-perly functioning earthing connection. Check that the mains
supply
corresponds to the ratings specifi ed on the hood rating
plate.
4.
Electric power sockets for the permanent installation must not be
located under the cooker hood.
5.
Make sure that the power cord is not located under the cooker hood.
6.
In order to avoid hazard, a damaged integral power cord should
only
be replaced by the manufacturer, a service technician or by a
quali-fi ed person.
7.
If the cooker hood is damaged, it can only be repaired by the
manufacturer, by a service technician or by a qualifi ed
person.
8.
For details on cleaning method and intervals, please refer to the
“Maintenance” section.
9.
Before cleaning or replacing the
filter
unplug the hood from the
electrical outlet or, if the hood is permanently connected to the
elec-trical installation, disconnect the power supply.
