Cleaning and maintenance overview
Regularly and according to the operating con-
ditions
Changing the saw blade
Removing the saw blade
– Press and hold down the spindle
lock (12).
– Undo the tensioning screw (25) using the
included installation wrench and turning
clockwise (
left thread!
).
– Remove the tensioning flange (26) from
the motor shaft.
– Open the pendulum protective hood with
pullback lever (7) fully.
– Remove the saw blade (6) from the motor
shaft and carefully remove by taking
downwards.
Fitting a saw blade
– Clean all pieces to be mounted before
installation.
– Put the new saw blade (6) into place.
– Fit the tensioning flange (26).
– Tighten the tensioning screw (25) using
the included installation wrench and turn-
ing anti-clockwise (
left thread!
).
Troubleshooting
What to do when something doesn’t
work…
Malfunctions are often caused by minor
faults. You can easily remedy most of these
yourself. Please consult the following table
before contacting the vendor. You will save
yourself a lot of trouble and possibly money
too.

Remove the rechargeable battery
before doing any work on the device.
Only those maintenance and fault
elimination tasks described here may
be carried out. Any other tasks must
be completed by a specialist.

Clean the ventilation
slots of the motor to
remove dust.
Use a vacuum, clean-
ing brush or paint
brush.
Clean the device.
Wipe the unit with a
damp cloth.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Remove
the rechargeable battery before doing
any work on the device.
WARNING! Risk of injury!
Shortly
after sawing, the saw blade may be
very hot. Allow a hot blade to cool
down. Never clean a hot saw blade
with flammable liquids.
A still saw blade can cause injury! Use
gloves to change the saw blade.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
The ten-
sioning screw may not be tightened
too far. This may cause damage to the
unit and serious injury!
Remove the mounting wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or
a key left attached to a rotating part of
the power tool may result in personal
injury.
WARNING! Risk of injury!
When
installing, ensure that the saw blade
sits correctly on the motor shaft. Oth-
erwise the saw may block or the saw
blade come undone!
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the
unit!
Make sure that the saw blade is
installed in accordance with the rota-
tion direction of the blade!
The arrow
direction on the saw blade and the
unit must match

Unprofessional repairs may mean
that your unit will no longer operate
safely. This endangers you and your
environment.
