ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING MANUAL
• Install the parts to inside the housing
(Note: The bushing of the pressing screw is al-
ready in the correct place).
• Push the housing onto the base (Fig. 1).
IMPORTANT
Pay attention that the nylon seal is in the cor-
rect place. The housing clamping knob must
be loosened before the housing can be mounted
on or removed from the base.
• Set the clamping screw
on “Lock” and tight-
en the small outlet screw . (By tightening the
outlet screw you exert more pressure dur-
ing the juice extraction process (for leafy and
fibrous vegetables such as parsley and wheat
grass). This is not necessary for the majority of
fruits and vegetables.
You can also vary the distance between the
clamping screw
and the pressing screw by
means of the enclosed screw wrench in or-
der to increase or to decrease the extraction
pressure).
• We recommend that you secure the juice ex-
tractor with the fixture .
• Ensure that the assembly surface is clean and
dry.
• Place the juice extractor near the edge of the
table or the working surface.
• Fix the housing firmly by turning the hous-
ing clamping knob
in clockwise direction
(Fig. 2). Use the stuffer/lever if necessary.
Mount the fixture if necessary.
• Position the crank
at the rear end of the
pressing screw housing and tighten the closing
screw on the crank .
• Place the juice container on the side of the
socket so that it catches the juice coming from
the spout.
• Place a bowl (not included) for catching the
pomace under the outlet screw .
• Put the fruits and vegetable into the funnel
, while turning the crank in the clockwise
direction (Fig. 4).
IMPORTANT
The foodstuff should be cut in small strips or
pieces and pushed slowly into the funnel. Here-
with, if possible, place the strips directly on the
right next to the pressing screw.
• If your encounter too much resistance, turn the
crank briefly in a counter-clockwise direction
and continue in the clockwise direction.
Do not use excessive force!
