7. Using Your Ceiling Fan

7.2

Restore Electrical Power to the Outlet Box by turning 

the Electricity on at the Main Fuse Box .
During Summer Months: Run the Fan Counter-

Clockwise, as you look up at it, to direct airflow 

downward .
During the Winter Months: Run the Fan Clockwise, 

as you look up at it, to direct airflow upward .
If airflow is desired in the opposite direction, turn the 

Ceiling Fan off and wait for the Blades to stop turning .
Slide the Reverse Switch (located on the top of the 

Switch Housing Assembly) to the opposite position, and 

turn the Ceiling Fan on again (Figure 30) .
The Fan Blades will turn in the opposite direction and 

reverse the airflow .

Check the operation of the Fan by gently pulling on the 

Pull Chain Switch (off-center pull chain) .
Cut the 3-speed switch pull chain to a desired length 

(optional) .
Connect the Small Wood Pendant (supplied) to 

the 3-speed switch center Pull Chain by sliding the 

Wood Pendant (small hole first) onto the Pull Chain 

(Figure 29) . Attach the Chain Coupler to the end of the 

Chain and allow the Wood Pendant to fall down over 

the Coupler .
Connect the Large Wood Pendant (supplied) to 

the off-center Pull Chain (fan light) by sliding the 

Wood Pendant (small hole first) onto the Pull Chain 

(Figure 29) . Attach the Chain Coupler to the end of the 

Chain and allow the Wood Pendant to fall down over 

the Coupler .
Assembly of the Ceiling Fan is now complete .
Your fan model is equipped with a 4-position, 

3-speed pull chain switch (Figure 29) . The operating 

sequence is as follows:
