RS-232 Communication
The Model 4404-16 Counter operates at the following RS-232 parameters:

19200 Baud

8 Data bits

No Parity

1 Stop bit
To retrieve count data, the dump command must be issued. This is done by
sending an uppercase “D” followed by a carriage return and line feed. The
message returned contains the count data for each channel and the status of
each channel. The message is terminated with a carriage return and line feed
character. The count data is the number of counts received in the previous
one second.
