Navigating the menus
A CellPipe SDSU unit is operated as a menu-driven system. You navigate by
selecting menus and operate the unit by setting parameters and issuing commands
selected from the menus.
To select a menu item from any menu, enter the number or letter that identifies the
item.
For example, to select
1. Reports Menu
, enter 1.
Some menu items, when selected, display a submenu from which you select a value.
Others provide a text field. Type a value in the field and press Enter.
For example, to select a port for which you want to set an IP address, enter the
number of the port.
Select Port: [1-8] 1
Press the Esc key to return to the previous menu.
When you assign a value, the change is automatically saved. However, changes are
not activated until you reset the unit. Select Reset System from the Main Menu to
reset the unit and save changes.
