To reset the signalling VPCI range for a virtual port, use the
vport reset
sigvpcirange
command.
Resetting the signalling VCI range
If you reset the virtual port’s signalling VCI range and the remote device is an end-
station, the port will re-learn the signalling VCI range supported by the end-station
when it is enabled and a remote device is connected. For more information about
this parameter, see Setting the signalling VCI range earlier in this chapter.
Note:
Before any virtual port parameters can be changed or reset, you must disable
the virtual port. For more information about how to disable a virtual port, see
Disabling a virtual port earlier in this chapter.
To reset the signalling VCI range for a virtual port, use the
vport reset vcirange
command.
Command:
M15-155s8:/>vport reset sigvpcirange <vport id>
Example:
M15-155s8:/>vport reset sigvpcirange 8.1.0
Parameter:
<vport id>
The virtual port in the form
<slot>.<port>.<virtual port number>.
Command:
