Edit a new scene, starting from the previous scene or starting from zero (cleared scene).
13.5. CHANNEL EDITING IN DOUBLE MODE
This mode is for executing a manual sequence. Each new scene is prepared in blind, with the lower
faders,
S#
.
X1/X2
controls the change (crossfade) of the current scene to the new scene. Start
with
X1/X2
in an end position, setting the upper faders output at 100% (
C#
) and the lower
faders output at 0% (
S#
);
stage
&
blind
respectively. In this situation:
Move the
S#
to set a new scene, or use the keyboard to enter it (changing the channel banks if
necessary). This entry in done in blind.
Start the Crossfade (change) between the current scene and this new scene, moving
X1/X2
to
the other end position. (During the movement of the faders, the edition from
S#
, fades from
0% to 100% at the same time that the current scene (accessible from
C#
) fades from 100% to
0%. It is also possible to start a timed Crossfade pressing [
GO
] (fading with the default cue
times).
At the moment of the Crossfade start, the scene prepared in
S#
, is stored as next cue and
loaded in X2 (starting from cue
800
– up to, maximum, cue 999)
Repeat this process as many times as necessary.
To modify any scene channel (or fixture parameter), before the change over to the new scene,
can be done by editing with
C#
faders.
During this process, Piccolo has been storing cues with each new scene, from cue 800 upwards.
Next time, it is possible to execute this show using these cues from the Crossfader… (see CUES
IN CROSSFADER (THEATRE/MANUAL & SINGLE), pg-29)
If desired, store the scene to a
group
(pg-23) or others
cues
(pg-24).
If necessary, you can delete cues from 800 to 999 or copy them to other range (pg- 50)
Summarize:
X1
&
X2
control the change to each new scene in manual mode (storing the scenes as a cue).
[
GO
] controls the change to each new scene with time (also, storing this scene in a cue)
S#

C#

Note
