Toggle switch - manual reversing mode (optional)
The knob-operated control is optional and can be used via the higher-order control (PLC) as a selector switch
for, say, automatic mode (Auto
– Left/right), as a manual reversing switch (Man – reversal of direction of
rotation) or for switching off the function manually.
Important:
The knob-operated control does not have any direct influence on the clockwise/anti-clockwise operation of
the function. The switch positions are indicated to the higher-order control via the AS-i bus only. It is the task
of the control to analyse these signals and to have them included in the function of the module. The solution
described here is just one example of how the knob-operated switch can be used via a PLC.
